The Hellenic Gaming Commission was awarded the Silver Award in the “Best Use of Data” category at the BITE Awards 2025 for the project “Development of a Gaming Data Warehouse,” implemented in collaboration with the company Seven Red Lines.
The project is based on the development of Data Warehouse technologies capable of integrating, storing, and processing data, with the aim of enhancing the effectiveness of supervision and control of games conducted through Video Lottery Terminals (VLTs).
The methodology developed enables the utilization of analytical data at both game and player session level, as well as the extraction of statistical data and fully reliable information for supervisory audits.
The BITE Awards (https://businessitawards.boussiasevents.gr) are the leading institution recognizing technological innovation in Greece, highlighting IT projects and digital transformation initiatives in both the public and private sectors.
This year’s 14th awards ceremony was held in the presence of 710 executives from the ICT market, under the auspices of the Ministry of Digital Governance and SEPE (Hellenic Federation of Enterprises).
