Institutional framework

The institutional framework for the protection of personal data, as implemented by the Hellenic Gaming Commission (HGC), is defined by the following key axes:

• The EU General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR).
• The national Law 4624/2019, which specifies the implementation measures of the European Regulation for the Greek legal order.

The HGC consistently ensures that the processing of personal data of visitors to its website is always in accordance with the obligations set by the current legislative framework, while taking the appropriate technical and organizational protection measures.
