Within a coherent framework of actions, the Authority aims to promote responsible participation in gaming and provide timely support to individuals who show signs of problematic engagement.<\/p><br><h5>Objectives<\/h5><br><ul>\r\n<li>Preventing and reducing gambling addiction<\/li>\r\n<li>Informing the public information and raising awareness<\/li>\r\n<li>Promoting individual responsibility and self-protection<\/li>\r\n<li>Connection to support and treatment services<\/li>\r\n<\/ul><br><h5>Main Actions<\/h5><br><ul>\r\n<li>Developing and implementing responsible gambling policies<\/li>\r\n<li>Integrating protection tools (limits, self-exclusion)<\/li>\r\n<li>Information campaigns in digital and traditional media<\/li>\r\n<li>Collaborating with specialized scientific bodies<\/li>\r\n<\/ul><br><h3><strong>Using Artificial Intelligence to Protect Gamblers<\/strong><\/h3><br><div>\r\n<p>The HGC utilizes modern artificial intelligence technologies with the aim of enhancing the prevention and early detection of problematic gambling behavior. In this context, since 2023 it has collaborated with the internationally renowned company Mindway AI, for the implementation of  <strong>GameScanner<\/strong> technology.<\/p>\r\n<p>This technology is based on artificial intelligence algorithms, as well as scientific data from neuroscience and psychology, allowing for continuous analysis of gambler behavior in real time.<\/p>\r\n<h5>How it works<\/h5>\r\n<p>The system collects and analyzes data such as:<\/p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>the duration of gaming sessions<\/li>\r\n<li>transaction records<\/li>\r\n<li>participation limits and preferences<\/li>\r\n<li>behavioral interactions<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<div>&nbsp;<\/div><br><p>Based on this data, a  <strong>Risk Index  (Risk Score 0\u2013100)<\/strong> ) is calculated that allows gamblers to be categorized according to their risk of developing problematic behavior.<\/p><br><h5>Evaluation factors<\/h5><br><p>The analysis takes into account, for example:<\/p><br><ul>\r\n<li>the time spent on gaming<\/li>\r\n<li>the level of financial spending<\/li>\r\n<li>the gaming types<\/li>\r\n<li>the win or lose patterns<\/li>\r\n<li>the night activity<\/li>\r\n<li>the &#8220;&#8216;loss recovery&#8221; behavior<\/li>\r\n<\/ul><br><h5>Results and significance<\/h5><br><p>Using technology enables:<\/p><br><ul>\r\n<li>recognizing addiction risk at an early stage<\/li>\r\n<li>developing targeted interventions<\/li>\r\n<li>strengthening the supervision of providers<\/li>\r\n<li>improving responsible gambling policies<\/li>\r\n<\/ul><br><h5>Next steps<\/h5><br><p>The HGC is proceeding with the <strong>second pilot implementation of the system<\/strong>, expanding:<\/p><br><ul>\r\n<li>the volume of data processed<\/li>\r\n<li>the range of gaming<\/li>\r\n<\/ul><br><div>&nbsp;<\/div><br><p>This strengthens the prevention and protection mechanisms for gamblers.<\/p><br><\/div><br>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Home Protecting gamblers and preventing addiction are a key pillar of the HGC strategy.
