socioeconomic, and behavioural characteristics of players is critical for the effective planning and implementation of responsible gambling measures.<br \/>To support this objective, the HGC commissioned <strong>Pulse RC,<\/strong> a member of the <strong>Association of Market Research and Public Opinion Companies (SEDEA)<\/strong>, to conduct a nationwide quantitative survey in 2025.<br \/>The survey was conducted using a sample of <strong>2,001 adults (18+)<\/strong> across Greece through telephone (CATI\/CASI) and online (CAWI) interviews based on a structured questionnaire.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><h5>Survey Objectives<\/h5><p>The survey sought to:<\/p><ul><li>Examine the relationship between demographic, socioeconomic characteristics and participation in games of chance.<\/li><li>Identify player profiles across different products.<\/li><li>Assess the prevalence of problematic gambling behaviour.<\/li><li>Analyse the impact of gambling on daily life and quality of life.<\/li><li>Explore public perceptions regarding gambling-related harm and addiction.<\/li><\/ul><h5>Key Findings<\/h5>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div environment for players. Its findings support the development of targeted enforcement, prevention, and public awareness initiatives.<\/p><div><h5>Survey Objectives\u00a0<\/h5>The study aimed to:<\/div><ul><li>\u00a0Assess public awareness of illegal gambling and its social, economic, and institutional consequences.<\/li><li>Measure participation in illegal gambling activities and estimate the size of the illegal market.<\/li><li>Profile participants based on demographic and socioeconomic characteristics.<\/li><li>Explore the motivations and underlying reasons behind participation in unlicensed gambling.<\/li><li>Estimate the financial scale of illegal gambling activity.<br \/><br \/><h5>Methodology<\/h5><p>The survey was commissioned by the HGC and conducted by <strong>Kapa Research<\/strong>, a member of <strong>SEDEA<\/strong>, between <strong>29 January and 13 March 2025<\/strong>, in accordance with <strong>ESOMAR<\/strong> ethical standards.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><\/li><\/ul><p>Survey Characteristics<\/p><ul><li><strong>Sample<\/strong>: 7,963 participants throughout Greece.<\/li><li><strong>Methodology<\/strong>: Face-to-face
