\n\t\t\t\t\t\tThe exclusion and temporary abstinence of players are regulated by the following legislative and regulatory acts:\r\n1) Online Games of Chance\r\nFor games of chance conducted via the internet (online gambling<\/strong>), the applicable framework is established by:\r\n\u2022\tMinisterial Decision 79835 \u0395\u039e 2020 (Government Gazette B' 3265), Gaming Regulation for the Organization and Conduct of Games of Chance via the Internet.\r\n\u2022\tMinisterial Decision 157593 \u0395\u039e 2022 (Government Gazette B' 5571), Gaming Regulation for the Organization and Conduct of OPAP S.A. Online Games of Chance.\r\n2) Video Lottery Terminals (VLTs)\r\nFor games conducted through Video Lottery Terminal (VLT) gaming machines (OPAP PLAY<\/strong>), the applicable framework is established by:\r\n\u2022\tMinisterial Decision 79314 \u0395\u039e 2020 (Government Gazette B' 3263), Gaming Regulation on the Conduct of Games of Chance through Video Lottery Terminal (VLT) Gaming Machines.\r\n3) Land-Based Casino Gambling\r\nFor games of chance conducted in land-based casinos<\/strong>, the applicable framework is established by:\r\n\u2022\tMinisterial Decision 303\/5\/27.02.2018 (Government Gazette B' 1025), amending and codifying Ministerial Decision T\/6736\/2003 (Government Gazette B' 929), Regulation for the Administrative Control and Supervision of Casino Operations.\r\nGames Not Covered by Exclusion Measures\r\nFor other games of chance that are conducted anonymously<\/strong>, where player identification and verification are not required, self-exclusion mechanisms are generally not available.\r\nThis is because the implementation and enforcement of exclusion measures require the identification of the player concerned. Where no player registration or identity verification process exists, it is not possible to apply or monitor exclusion restrictions effectively.\r\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\tWhat Does \u201cExcluded Player\u201d Mean? <\/br> <\/br>\r\n\r\nAn excluded player is a person who is not permitted to participate in gambling activities. Exclusion may occur through:\r\n\r\nPlayer\u2019s own initiative (self-exclusion)\r\nan application submitted by a court-appointed guardian or legal representative,\r\na court decision\r\nReasoned Decision of the License Holder\r\nRequest submitted by a first-degree relative or spouse (available only in relation to land-based casino gaming).\r\n\r\nTypes of Self-Exclusion \/ Temporary Time-Out\r\n\r\nType of Exclusion\r\n\r\n\t\r\n\r\nDuration \/ Validity\r\n\r\n\t\r\n\r\nMethod of Removal\r\n\r\n\t\r\n\r\nApplicable To\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nIndefinite Self-Exclusion\r\n\r\n\t\r\n\r\nAt least one (1) year from the date of exclusion.\r\n\r\n\t\r\n\r\nNot lifted automatically.
