<\/p><h5><strong>1. Participation and Financial Control Limits<\/strong><\/h5><p>License holders must provide players with tools that enable them to manage and control their gambling participation through the establishment of clear and predefined limits. These measures help ensure that gambling activity remains at a controlled and responsible level.<\/p><p>Such limits include, in particular:<\/p><ul><li>deposit limits on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis;<\/li><li>loss limits over a specified period of time;<\/li><li>restrictions on the duration and frequency of participation.<\/li><\/ul><p>These tools are designed to promote informed and responsible decision-making by players and form part of the broader regulatory framework aimed at reducing the adverse effects associated with excessive gambling. <\/p><h5><strong>2.Self-Control and Self-Exclusion Mechanisms<\/strong><\/h5><p>Within the framework of player protection, license holders are required to provide mechanisms that enable players to self-regulate their gambling behavior.<\/p><p>These mechanisms include, in particular:<\/p><ul><li>the option to temporarily or permanently refrain from participating in gambling activities (self-exclusion),<\/li><li>tools that allow players to monitor and stay informed about their gambling activity,<\/li><li>reminders and time-management functions that help players control the duration of their participation.<\/li><\/ul><p>These measures constitute essential tools for preventing and limiting excessive gambling and form an integral part of the player protection initiatives promoted by the Hellenic Gaming Commission (HGC). <\/p><h5><strong>3. Gambling Risk Assessment and Monitoring<\/strong><\/h5><p>License holders are required to cooperate with the regulatory framework established by the Hellenic Gaming Commission (HGC) for the understanding, prevention, and mitigation of gambling addiction.<\/p><p>Within this framework:<\/p><ul><li>data and indicators related to gambling behavior are utilized,<\/li><li>patterns associated with problematic gambling are identified,<\/li><li>measures for prevention and early intervention are supported and promoted.<\/li><\/ul><p>This approach is aligned with the HGC\u2019s broader initiatives to <strong>assess the extent of gambling addiction, study gambling behavior, and develop appropriate player protection policies<\/strong> through research, monitoring activities, and analytical tools. <\/p><h5><strong>4.
