Rapid technological advancements and the emergence of new forms of economic and social activity within the gaming sector have increased the need for transparency, responsible governance, and effective, independent regulation. As the gaming landscape continues to evolve, it requires a modern regulatory framework capable of responding to emerging challenges while fostering trust, innovation, and sustainable market development.<\/p>

The Hellenic Gaming Commission (HGC), as an Independent Administrative Authority, is responsible for the regulation, supervision, and oversight of the gaming market in Greece. Through a comprehensive regulatory approach, the Authority monitors the activities of licensed operators, analyses market developments, and assesses the risks associated with gambling participation, contributing to the integrity, stability, and sustainable growth of the sector.<\/p>

Protecting players remains the HGC’s foremost priority, with particular emphasis on safeguarding minors and vulnerable individuals. Preventing gambling-related harm, combating illegal gambling, and promoting a safe and responsible gaming environment are central pillars of the Authority’s work. Through targeted policies, effective enforcement, and continuous market monitoring, the HGC seeks to strengthen consumer protection and public confidence.<\/p>

At the same time, the HGC is committed to continuous digital and organisational transformation.
